Becoming a Volunteer at Valley Park Church

At Valley Park, we deeply recognize that without the dedication and hard work of our volunteers, the mission of our church would be impossible to accomplish. The truth is, ministry requires people. Without the hands and hearts of our community, the vital work of the church would simply not get done. Every time you sacrifice your time, energy, and even resources, you are actively contributing to the success and growth of our church. For that, on behalf of Valley Park Church, we extend our heartfelt thanks for your commitment and service.

One of the core identities of a Christian is that of a servant. There’s no greater example of this than Jesus Himself, who came not to be served, but to serve. He calls each of us to follow His example, not just by finding moments to serve, but by adopting the very posture of a servant in every aspect of our lives. As it says in Galatians 6:10, “As we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.” Serving isn’t just a task—it’s a calling that shapes us into the likeness of Christ.

We are thrilled to have you consider serving alongside us here at Valley Park Church. Serving is not only a way to express our gratitude to God by using our time and talents, but it's also one of the ways God shapes our hearts to reflect His love and character.
