At Valley Park Church, we hold a deep commitment to collaborating closely with parents to guide their children on a transformative journey towards embracing a life devoted to following Christ. Our approach is centered around age-appropriate teachings, interactive activities, and fostering connections within small groups. We believe in instilling foundational biblical truths and practical life lessons in children aged from birth to 5th grade, ensuring that each week is an opportunity for them to grasp these principles and integrate them into their daily lives.

Children attend the worship music with their parents in the Sanctuary and are dismissed to Room 4 during greeting time. Children will be released to their parents after service. Please make your way to the room promptly after service.

Through meticulously crafted lessons, interactive activities, and nurturing small group interactions, we create an environment where children can not only understand the teachings of the Bible but also comprehend how these lessons directly relate to their personal experiences. By tailoring our approach to different age groups, we aim to ensure that each child feels understood and supported in their spiritual journey.

Valley Park Church Nursery

At Valley Park Church, our Nursery is meticulously designed to cater to the needs of infants and toddlers up to two years old, providing a secure and nurturing environment for these precious little ones. Our Nursery doors open at 10:15 am sharp on Sunday mornings and operate with a stringent sign-in and sign-out system to prioritize the safety and well-being of your children. We kindly request that parents promptly pick up their child after the service to ensure their comfort and safety.

The Nursery serves as a haven where parents can confidently entrust their infants and toddlers while they engage in their worship experience. We understand the significance of this time for parents and endeavor to create an atmosphere that fosters both safety and spiritual nurturing for the little ones.

Within the Nursery, we engage infants and toddlers through a variety of age-appropriate activities. Simple stories, soothing music, and playful interactions are woven together to introduce these young hearts to the profound love of God. Our approach emphasizes the foundational truth that God loves each child dearly and seeks to foster an environment where infants and toddlers can begin to grasp this unconditional love. Through these activities, we aim to instill in them an understanding of how natural and beautiful it is to reciprocate this love for God.

We warmly invite parents of infants and toddlers to visit our Nursery at any time. We understand the importance of feeling comfortable with the environment where your child will spend their time, and we are delighted to provide opportunities for parents to acquaint themselves with our caring staff and the nurturing space we've created.

Preschool/Kindergarten

At Valley Park Church, our Preschool ministry is specially designed for children between the ages of 3 through kindergarten, offering a nurturing and secure environment where toddlers can engage in meaningful activities while their parents participate in the worship service. Our process for drop-offs involves a thorough sign-in and sign-out system, prioritizing the safety and well-being of every child entrusted to us. We kindly request that parents promptly make their way to Room 2 after the service to collect their little ones.

During the worship service, children within the preschool age group begin alongside their parents in the sanctuary, participating in the worship music. At the designated greeting time, they are joyfully dismissed to Room 2, where our engaging and age-specific curriculum awaits them.

Our preschool curriculum is thoughtfully curated, tailored to suit the unique developmental stages of each age group within the preschool. We believe in providing a blend of both educational and spiritually enriching experiences for these young minds. Through interactive lessons, creative activities, and age-appropriate teachings, we aim to lay the foundational elements of faith in a manner that resonates with their understanding. It's not just about caring for children; it's about nurturing their spiritual growth and encouraging a love for learning about God.
